THE EXPLICANS OF THE EXPLICAND

The scientific explanations would be the explanation of the known by the unknown (explicandum).The explicandum is assumed to be known or known to be true. The explican is the object ot our search would be not known; it will have to be discovered.

The explican should not be ad hoc, it must be rich in contend. It must have a variety of testable concequances (independent tests or independent evidence) which are different from the explicandum.

For universal laws of nature, they must be independently tested everwhere and at all times. Thus universal laws are testable and falsifiable. An explanation in terms of testable and falsifiable universal laws and initial conditions can be satisfactory.

The aim of science is to find satisfactory explanations or a set of statements that describes the state of affairs to be explained (explicandum). It is aim of science to find satisfactory explanations and by improving the degree of testability by proseeding to better (advanced) testable theories which means proceeding to theories of ever richer content, of higher degrees of universality, and so of higher degrees of precision. This is actual practice of the theoretical science.

8. I wish to understand theory of rational behavior as a benchmark. Like most economist, I find it powerful tool of analysis of phenomena. It allows vicarious problem solving and when it works I get a lot of output from minimal input using a standard piece of intellectual machinery.

Auditing: Professional Skepticism and Fraud

Professional skepticism assumes neither management’s total honesty nor their dishonesty, notwithstanding the auditor’s past experience of the honesty and integrity of the entity’s management or those charged with governance. It recognizes that fraud is always possible and that management is in the best position to commit fraud.
When fuel, oxygen, and heat are brought together, there is a high probability of fire. The same is true for fraud. Fraud is most likely to occur when three key factors are present:

1. Opportunity (Perceived or Real)
2. Pressure
3. Rationalization

Fraud and management override can be perpetrated in any size of entity at any time...!

Demode olmuş bu fikirlere/yöntemlere halkın karnı toktur. TV'de ve Gazettelerde bilmişlik taslayacaklarına, bilimsellikten uzak bir şekilde halka yanlış (sahte reçeteler) önereceklerine, LAVİATHAN canavarının (DEVLET) nasıl dize getirilebileceğini tartışsınlar- eğer sorunlara dürüst ve samimimiyetle yaklaşırlarsa tabi....

KKTC'de (TRNC !) şimdiki nesil, gelecek nesillerin haklarını gasp etmektedir. Bu gasp ülkede uzun yıllar devam etmekdir, paradoksal önlemlerle halk uyutulmaya çalışılmaktadır.
